Hey Leduc,
One of our own did something pretty special last weekend.
Jordan Martinook — who grew up right here in Leduc, played for the Leduc Oil Kings, and grew up an Edmonton Oilers fan — lifted the Stanley Cup on Sunday night as the Carolina Hurricanes defeated the Vegas Golden Knights 3-0 in Game 6.
Martinook is an alternate captain for Carolina. After the final horn, his teammate Jaccob Slavin handed him the Cup first. He kissed it, hoisted it over his head, and didn't stop smiling.
From the Leduc Oil Kings to the Stanley Cup. What a journey.

🏪 Downtown Leduc — Just Worth Exploring
If you haven't walked down 50 Avenue lately, it's worth making time for.
There are new businesses opening, familiar faces behind the counters, and plenty of local shops that remind you why supporting local matters in a community our size.
Sometimes the best thing to do on a summer afternoon is simply take a walk downtown and see what's new.
💬 One Question

So we'll start with one question:
