🎃 COMING UP — A HALLOWEEN EVENT FOR EVERY BODY!
❤️ Treat Leduc — Accessible Halloween Village
Here's an upcoming event we're especially happy to share.
Treat Leduc is returning to Southfork Green!
And what makes this Halloween celebration different is its commitment to making trick-or-treating accessible to children of all abilities.
Instead of children having to navigate steps and front entrances, participating homeowners hand out treats from the ends of their driveways.
That helps make the experience easier and more welcoming for families whose children face accessibility challenges.
But here's the important part:
Every child is welcome!
Children do not need to identify as having a visible or invisible disability to participate.
🎃 WHAT TO EXPECT
🍬 Lots of Halloween treats
🎵 Music and entertainment
🎯 Street games
🏡 Neighbourhood participation
👻 A welcoming trick-or-treating experience
🤝 Support from local community organizations
Community groups expected to participate include youth council, Scouting, Boys and Girls Club, Cadets, Kinsmen, and police and fire services.
📅 EVENT DETAILS
Sunday, October 25, 2026

🏡 YOUR CITY, YOUR SAY
Leduc's Land Use Bylaw — Feedback Closes Sunday
Here's something worth knowing if you care about how Leduc grows.
The City of Leduc is reviewing its Land Use Bylaw.
This bylaw helps determine how land can be developed, including housing options, business locations and how new development fits into existing neighbourhoods.
The City is inviting residents to review the latest draft and provide feedback.
The online survey closes Sunday, October 18.
If you have thoughts about Leduc's future growth, this is an opportunity to share them.
📅 Feedback deadline: Sunday, October 18
Review the draft and participate: City of Leduc Land Use Bylaw
❤️ KEEPING LEDUC CONNECTED
One of the things we're learning through lalocal is that a strong community isn't built through big events alone.
It's also built through the smaller things.
A local organization bringing people together.
A business supporting its neighbours.
Someone making an event accessible to more families.
Or simply taking the time to share information that might help someone else.
Those are the stories and opportunities we want to keep bringing you.
And if you know about something positive happening around Leduc, we'd love to hear about it.
🍂 HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND, LEDUC!
Whether you're heading to QuiltFest, enjoying live music, meeting someone for coffee or simply taking it easy this weekend, we hope you find something good close to home.
Thank you for reading, sharing and supporting local.
See you next Thursday! ❤️
