Good morning, Leduc! This week we've got a national softball championship right in our backyard, a couple of good-news stories from around the region, a full slate of things to do, and a little something coming down the pipe for Behind the Business fans.
🥎 The Best in the Country Are Playing in Our Backyard
Some of Canada's top co-ed slo-pitch teams are coming to Leduc this weekend for the SPN Co-ed National Slo-Pitch Championship, taking place July 31 through August 3 at William F. Lede Park.
It's not every day a national championship comes to our community. Whether you're a longtime softball fan or simply looking for something fun to do with family or friends, this is a great opportunity to watch some of the country's best players compete right here in Leduc.
Pack a lawn chair, cheer on the athletes, and enjoy a summer weekend supporting an event that's bringing visitors from across Canada to our city. These are the kinds of weekends that remind us Leduc isn't just growing—it's becoming a destination for great community events.
