❤️ SUPPORTING LOCAL DOESN’T ALWAYS REQUIRE SPENDING MORE
Halloween weekend will bring people into local businesses, markets and community spaces.
That makes it a good time for a small reminder.
Behind a local business is usually a real person taking a chance on an idea, trying to serve customers and building something in the community where they live.
Supporting them can mean making a purchase.
But it can also mean:
⭐ Leaving a thoughtful review after a genuinely good experience.
🗣️ Recommending a business you genuinely like.
📲 Sharing something useful they’ve posted.
👋 Telling a neighbour about a local place they may not know.
🛍️ Checking locally first before automatically driving somewhere else or ordering online.
You don’t have to buy something simply because it’s local.
But knowing what’s available here gives local businesses an opportunity to earn your support.
Sometimes helping a local business starts simply by helping someone else discover it. ❤️
