Preet Randhawa, owner and founder of GoGo's Tea & Health.

Sometimes the most meaningful businesses begin with a personal journey.

For Preet Randhawa, owner and founder of GoGo's Tea & Health, that journey started with her own health challenges. As she searched for ways to improve her well-being, she discovered something simple yet powerful: tea became more than a beverage—it became part of her daily routine for slowing down, finding balance, and caring for herself.

That experience eventually grew into a business with a purpose.

The name "GoGo" isn't a marketing creation or a carefully chosen brand. It's the childhood nickname her family has always called her. Today, it represents the same warmth, kindness, and sense of family she hopes every customer feels when they walk through the door.

GoGo's Tea & Health first opened in British Columbia in 2019.

In 2022, Preet moved to Leduc to be closer to her family and brought the business with her, believing the city's strong community spirit and support for local entrepreneurs made it the perfect place to continue growing her dream.

For Preet, the mission has never changed.

It isn't simply about selling tea.

It's about helping people slow down, take care of themselves, and discover a little more wellness with every cup.

More Than a Tea Shop

Step inside GoGo's Tea & Health and you'll quickly notice that the focus extends beyond what's in your cup.

Every loose-leaf tea has been selected for two reasons: exceptional flavour and the wellness benefits it may provide. Whether someone is looking for an everyday wellness blend, an energizing cup to start the morning, or something calming at the end of a busy day, Preet enjoys helping each customer find the tea that best fits their needs.

That same philosophy carries into the rest of the business.

GoGo's Tea & Health also hosts guided meditation sessions, giving people another opportunity to pause, reconnect, and care for both their physical and mental well-being.

For Preet, wellness has always been about the whole person.

Her goal is to create more than a place to buy tea. She wants to build a welcoming space where people feel comfortable, form genuine connections, and leave feeling refreshed.

Community Fact

Many people know GoGo's Tea & Health for its premium loose-leaf teas.

What some may not realize is that the business also offers guided meditation sessions, bringing together tea, mindfulness, and community in one welcoming space.

It's one more way Preet is helping people slow down and reconnect—not only with themselves, but with those around them.

What Should You Order?

If it's your first visit, Preet has three signature blends that customers return for again and again.

ImmuniTea is the shop's best seller and a favourite for customers looking to support their everyday wellness.

Lucky Dragon is known for its smooth, energizing flavour and is a popular choice for those wanting a little extra lift during the day.

For anyone hoping to relax and unwind, Lavender Mint has become the go-to blend, offering a calming cup after a busy day.

Not sure which one is right for you?

That's one of Preet's favourite parts of the business. She enjoys learning what customers are looking for and recommending a tea that best fits their tastes and lifestyle.

A Journey That Might Surprise You

Before opening GoGo's Tea & Health, Preet worked as a Correctional Supervisor.

It was during that chapter of her life that meditation and tea became important parts of her own routine for managing stress and finding balance.

She also worked as an Early Childhood Educator, an experience that continues to influence the business today. It's one of the reasons she is passionate about offering caffeine-free tea options that children can enjoy alongside the rest of the family.

Those experiences helped shape not only the products on the shelves, but also the welcoming atmosphere customers experience every time they visit.

A Community That Keeps Showing Up

Since arriving in Leduc in 2022, the support from the community has meant more than Preet ever expected.

Customers regularly visit from Leduc, Edmonton, Beaumont, Nisku, and surrounding communities.

Many first discover the shop because a friend, family member, or coworker recommended it.

Seeing those visitors return—and then introduce someone else to GoGo's Tea & Health—is one of the most rewarding parts of owning the business.

For Preet, those referrals represent something much bigger than sales.

They represent trust, relationships, and a community that believes in supporting local.

Looking Ahead

Preet is already thinking about what's next.

One idea she's especially excited about is introducing sample-sized tea packs, giving customers the opportunity to try different blends at home before choosing a full-size package.

It's another small step toward making loose-leaf tea more approachable for both new and longtime tea drinkers.

Community Question

What's one locally owned business that always makes you feel welcome the moment you walk through the door?

We'd love to hear your recommendation.

Every business has a story.

Some begin with a lifelong dream.

Others begin with a challenge that changes everything.

For GoGo's Tea & Health, that story started with one woman's personal journey toward better health and a desire to share what she had discovered with others.

Today, that same purpose continues to guide the business—creating a welcoming place where tea, wellness, and community come together, one conversation and one cup at a time.
